I am qualified integrative/intercultural counsellor & psychotherapist. I work in a person centred and transpersonal way with my clients, to help them explore and make sense of things that may be troubling them.

With over 25 years experience working with adults and children I have become familiar with many different presentations of, for example; Depression, Trauma, Grief, Anxiety, Eating disorders, Addiction, Domestic abuse, as well as Child Sexual Abuse.

I currently work predominantly with young people who have experienced significant trauma affecting their self esteem, self confidence and safety.

I work in a non judgemental way, non directive and gentle way and offer sessions to suit you, or your child, depending on need.

My training is as an integrative /intercultural counsellor, which means I use a variety of therapeutic approaches such as Person centred, Transpersonal, CBT and Psychodynamic. Depending on what is appropriate for my client.

An initial assessment will determine whether you feel you can work with me, and if so, the pace and pattern of our work together will be mutually agreed.

I will use the approach most suitable for you, depending on your needs and I will always work with unconditional positive regard, meeting you exactly where you are at, right here and now. This, I believe, this is the start of any healing journey.

One-to-one sessions can help you work through your thoughts and feelings helping you to build up trust, begin to confide in someone who is empathic, warm, understanding and knowing. This provides a safe space to explore your inner world, helping you regain lost power.

Prices:

Initial assessment: £70

On line: 50 minutes = £60

These prices are on a sliding scale and I can offer some reduced rates for people struggling to afford counselling.
